Grimaud is a French Riviera town in southeastern France with a population of approximately 3,800 people.  It has historical links to the Genoese Grimaldi family that rules Monaco as its royal family today. Gibelin de Grimaldi helped William the Good force the Saracens out of the area in AD 973, and his prize was the land that now makes up Grimaud.  The village is still dominated by its partially restored 11th century castle. Grimaud homes range from luxury villas to apartments on the canal.

Port Grimaud is located four miles southwest of St. Tropez and is considered part of Grimaud proper.  The Church of St. Francis of Assisi contains stained glass by Victor Vasarely, considered by many to be the father of the Op-art movement.
