Gassin

Gassin is a village in southeastern France with a population of approximately 2,800 people. Gassin is located on the St. Tropez peninsula above the coast, providing beautiful views of the sea and located just 4 kilometers from the Mediterranean beaches. Things are quieter in Gassin than St. Tropez, so tourists who want more of a soft adventure vacation often gravitate toward the smaller community, and Gassin villas for sale tend to be more affordable than a similar spread in St. Tropez.
Gassin has an excellent marina and golf courses, some marvelous vineyards for touring and wine tasting, and has many opportunities for walking and horseback riding. Gassin is also home to the oldest art gallery in the area and the Chapel Notre Dame de la Compassion.
