MTV’s Real World reality series is one of the longest running reality series on TV; even longer than Survivor which is often acclaimed as the first reality TV show. Each time a new season begins the cast is set up in a beautiful apartment, room, or house somewhere. The Real World is so popular that locations that have hosted the show often become tourism hot spots. Hotel rooms the Real World has been hosted in can cost upwards of $40,000 a night to rent!
I’ve often been curious how MTV selects the locations for their new season, and I’ve thought of a handful that I think would be great both for the environment and the luxuriousness of the locale.
